Xiao Shen Community Management Committee: Meetings Have Procedures

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people have been forced into a “new normal,” with interpersonal relationships and distances in a constant tug of war. During this year’s PLAY ARTS Festival—The Alchemy of Joy, the 1068th meeting of the Xiao Shen Community management committee was convened by its chair. Members of this committee discussed preparations for a year-end gala in this lively and unique improvisational performance. Based on humor, possibilities for interactions between performers and audiences at new distances were found.
