Hearing Space: Sound Walking

“Spatial Relation” is the title of a series of activities extending from the exhibition Project: The Folly, attempting to perceive the existence of space through clutter cleaning, writing, listening, and rhythm and invites participants to rethink the relationship between us and space. HSIAO Yun-An led an online workshop entitled “Sound Walking” as one of the activities. Starting with the concepts of soundscapes, participants were guided in using their sense of hearing to explore the spaces around them. Through “sound walking” and visual description, they were able to perceive the environmental soundscapes.
