FUTURE VISION LAB 2022: Exploring Visual Limits

C-LAB’s experimental exhibition and performance project, FUTURE VISION LAB, entered its third year. Technical upgrades were made to the dome structure that serves as an image carrier this year. With the objective of exploring the visual limits of technology media, system development involved spherical surface projection techniques such as image warping, edge blending, mapping, play control, and image preprocessing. For the first time, opaque and black-out materials were used to cover the DOME, reducing the impact of light pollution and enabling earlier screening times. Through gradual upgrades and continuous system improvements, we can look forward to even more amazing visual effects.
