The first of the 2022 Guides to C-LAB—From Industrial Research Institute to Contemporary Culture Lab series of activities was led by YANG Ning-Yao. Starting with Taipei’s industrial development during the Japanese colonial period, YANG discussed the background to and the position of the Industrial Research Institute of the Taiwan Governor-General’s Office and introduced the surrounding industrial landscapes and facilities, pointing to the significance of the C-LAB site during that period.
