A Virtual Playground of Sound Installations

Sound Playground is a family games and sound art area developed by WANG Chung-Kun, WU Ping-Sheng, CHENG I-Lly and LIAO Hai-Ting under the commission of the C-LAB Taiwan Sound Lab. After its exhibition at Taiwan Sound Lab last year, it was moved to the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center in May this year. With the seesaw, crying box, and applause box, people of all ages learn about sounds and music through games and performances and create unimaginable sounds.

Cultural experimentation anticipates a disobedient attitude that facilitates cultural reversion and creative collision. When experiments become an attitude, a wide spectrum of cultural initiatives and fresh paths will unfold and extend like water, shock, sonic, light, or electric waves.
